Pleated blinds for the bathroom & toilet
Functional and Decorative Pleated Blind for Your Bathroom
In the bathroom, privacy protection is particularly important. A pleated blind is a wonderful way to protect yourself from prying eyes in a flexible manner: Simply pull the blind up just before taking a bath or shower to shield yourself from outside views. Later, after it has fully dried, push the blind together to allow daylight to enter your bathroom freely.
Unlike in the living room or bedroom, the bathroom has a specific room climate. In bathrooms, the humidity is generally higher than in other rooms. Therefore, the pleated blind material should be suitable for this damp environment. Moisture-resistant pleated blinds are at least water-repellent.

Moisture-Resistant Pleated Blinds for Your Bathroom
Moisture-resistant pleated blinds prevent mold formation on the window or pleated fabric. Thanks to their special coating, the pleated blinds are water-repellent and quick-drying. This not only prevents mold but also avoids unsightly discoloration or stains on the pleated fabric.
A standard pleated blind would not withstand the damp environment. The typical pleated folds would quickly lose their shape in the moist room, and the pleated fabric would dry slowly.
Decorative Privacy Protection for Your Bathroom
To ensure that you are well-protected from outside views, the pleated blind in your bathroom should be as opaque as possible. Equally important is allowing daylight to enter your bathroom unimpeded. We recommend a pleated blind with 50% light permeability for your bathroom. These allow sufficient light to enter your bathroom while also shielding you from external views. Even in darkness, when the light is on in the bathroom, only the light will be visible from outside, not the interior.
In addition to its practical use, the pleated blind also serves as a decorative element in your bathroom. For many, the bathroom has become a place of relaxation. Thanks to the variety of colors and designs, you can customize your space with a pleated blind.
Washable Pleated Blinds for Your Bathroom
All of our pleated blind models can be washed at home at 30 degrees Celsius. Please ensure that the pleated blind dries thoroughly after washing. Keep the pleated blind fully open and only close it once the fabric is completely dry.
Proper Maintenance for Bathroom Pleated Blinds
Ensure good air circulation in your bathroom and all damp rooms. Ventilate your bathroom regularly. After a shower or bath, use a quick burst of fresh air to let the steam escape. If condensation forms between the pleated blind and the window, wipe it off with a soft cloth.
To keep your bathroom pleated blind in good condition, we recommend not only ventilating your room after a hot bath or shower but also opening the pleated blind. This will allow it to dry properly.

Proper Installation of the Bathroom Pleated Blind
In damp rooms, it's especially important to install the pleated blind with a slight gap from the windowpane. Ensure during installation that the pleated blind can open fully.
Install the Bathroom Pleated Blind Without Drilling
In our shop, you can choose from three mounting options. With the clip bracket and adhesive mounting, you don't need to drill holes in your window frames. Instead, the pleated blind is held in place by a clamping mechanism or transparent adhesive plates.
Screw-Mounting the Pleated Blind in the Bathroom
Alternatively, you can screw-mount your pleated blind onto the window frame in the bathroom. This is the most common way to install a pleated blind.
